Ramazan Temirov returned from suspension and sent a message to the UFC flyweight division.

Temirov faced one-time flyweight title challenger Steve Erceg in the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Abu Dhabi card. Temirov’s power showed early, hurting Erceg multiple times before delivering an absolutley brutal knockout blow at 4:21 of the opening round.

With the win, Temirov improves to 3-0 inside the octagon, and picked up his second first-round finish in the process. The 29-year-old returned after a year-long suspension following a positive drug test, and picked up where he left off as a fighter to watch in the 125-pound division.

Following the win, Temirov called for a shot at the UFC flyweight title, but he surely has a ways to go before he’s in consideration for a championship opportunity.

Of course, UFC pro fighters were sitting back at home watching the fists fly at UFC Abu Dhabi. Check out some of their reactions below.
