Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Anthony Pettis soon square off again, but not inside the octagon.
RAF announced Wednesday that Cerrone and Pettis are set to meet on the mats at RAF 15, which takes place Nov. 28 at NOW Arena in Chicago.
See the announcement below.
This marks the RAF debut for both former UFC fighters.
Pettis and Cerrone famously fought twice under the UFC banner, with Pettis coming out on top both times. In their first meeting in 2013, Pettis scored a first-round knockout over Cerrone on his run to becoming lightweight champion. They rematched at UFC 249 in 2020, with Pettis winning again, this time via a hotly contested decision.
Cerrone has not fought since last competing for the UFC in 2022, closing out his storied run with the promotion on a seven-fight winless streak. As for Pettis, he last fought in MMA for PFL in 2022, but has stayed busy with appearances in boxing and for Karate Combat. In his most recent outing in 2024, Pettis defeated Chris Avila via unanimous decision on the undercard of the Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal boxing event.
RAF events air live on Fox Nation.
