Dricus du Plessis believes he did enough to warrant another UFC title shot.

The former UFC middleweight champion showed his entire game en route to a comfortable unanimous decision victory (50-45, 49-46 x2) over UFC middleweight champion Kamaru Usman in the UFC Oklahoma City main event Saturday night.

Du Plessis wants antother crack at current UFC champion Sean Strickland, whom he has defeated two previous times in his career already, after the victory.

“I’m back in the winner’s circle. Let’s get my belt back,” du Plessis said.

With the loss, Usman doesn’t plan to call it quits on his remarkable career. Usman, who didn’t rule out a fight in the 170 or 185 pound weight classes next, wasn’t happy with one 50-45 judge or a possible thumb poke during the fight in the post-fight interview.

“It’s very rarely I have an off night in here, and everyone gets it once in awhile, and I guess this one was mine,” Usman siad.
