Darren Till and Yoel Romero refuse to end staredown at BKFC press conference

Neither Darren Till nor Yoel Romero are prepared to give an inch.

Next month, Till and Romero square off in a cruiserweight bout in the main event of BKFC 94. The fight is the sophomore outing for both men in BKFC, and is being promoted by the company as the biggest bout in BKFC history. On Tuesday, the fighters took part in the event’s opening press conference in Manchester, England, and while things got a little testy between the two, the tension really ratcheted up when they had their first faceoff.

While neither Till nor Romero came close to starting anything during their staredown, neither man wanted to be the one to end things either. Instead, the former UFC fighters stood face-to-face for one of the longest faceoffs in history, with both men refusing to break eye contact even when BKFC CEO David Feldman asked them to face forward for photographs.

Eventually security got between the two, but Till and Romero remained locked in eye contact for over three minutes, before Till finally bowed out, literally.
