Jake Paul mocks Conor McGregor after injury ends his comeback at UFC 329

Jake Paul has been one of Conor McGregor’s biggest haters for years so he relished the moment he could mock the former UFC champion following the disappointing end to his comeback.

Following a five-year layoff and recovering from a broken leg, McGregor’s return at UFC 329 ended just 66 seconds into the fight after he threw a jumping roundhouse kick that ended with his knee popping. McGregor tried to continue but the damage was clearly done and after he could barely make it back to his feet, referee Mike Beltran had no choice but to stop the fight and declare Max Holloway the winner.

Not long after the fight came to a close, Paul did his own “replay” to show how the injury happened.

Obviously, Paul grabbing at his knee and falling into the pool was the grand finale as he celebrated McGregor’s injury and the disastrous end to his return to the UFC.

It wasn’t that long ago that Paul was constantly calling out McGregor and trying to set up a boxing match as he continued taking on undersized and overmatched competition.

He eventually let that go but Paul rarely missed a chance to take a shot at McGregor whenever the opportunity was there for him.

McGregor suffering a devastating injury that ended his comeback and could potentially force the Irish superstar to question whether or not he’ll ever compete again was like chum in the water for Paul.

The actual severity of the injury hasn’t been revealed yet but Paul definitely enjoyed taking a victory lap over McGregor with his comeback being crushed on Saturday at UFC 329.
