The UFC is headed back to Dallas.
On Saturday, during UFC 333, the world’s leading MMA promotion announced that it will return to the heart of Texas for UFC Dallas on Jan. 16, a Fight Night card at the American Airlines Center. No fights have been announced for the event yet.
This will be the UFC’s seventh trip to Dallas, with all previous events taking place at the American Airlines Center. The promotion most recently visited the city for UFC 277 on July 30, 2022, the pay-per-view event headlined by a women’s bantamweight title rematch between Amanda Nunes and Julianna Peña that Nunes won via unanimous decision. The card was co-headlined by an interim flyweight title fight between Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France that Moreno won via third-round TKO.
UFC Dallas will also be the first event of the UFC’s 2027 calendar, ending the now-traditional holiday break the promotion usually takes from mid-December to mid-January.
